This is the day

Standard

This is the day the Lord has made, we will be glad and rejoice in it.” Psalm 118:24

Today has been made by God. Believe it and you’ll see it! Name you day as ‘made by God’, not the devil, not people, enemies or economy, but God!

Many of us are waiting for our good days to come. Don’t put off being glad, waiting for your day. Today is made by God. See the good things in today.

Joy is a decision! It doesn’t always just come to us. Our joy in life is not based on what happens. We can choose to be happy ‘in spite’ of what is happening. Every day is “this” day, not just Friday or Saturday.

Everyday is made by God for you to rejoice in somehow, someway.

Be Blessed!

Abundance

Standard

Psalm 23:5 – “My cup runs over”

It is hard to find anywhere in Scripture where God does not provide more than enough!

Manna in a wilderness, oil for a widow, bread and fish for a multitude, flour for the widow of Zaraphath, wine at a wedding – God’s nature is to be exceedingly generous. Creation itself shouts the fact that God is gloriously, abundantly generous.

It is religion that has made Him seem small minded – withholding, stingy.

God’s greatest generosity is seen in not withholding His only Son and not condemning us but paying the highest price for our salvation!!

He is the God of ‘more than enough’, our God is the God of ‘exceeding abundantly above all we ask of think’ – Ephesians 3:20

See you in church!

Renewal

Job 14:7-9 “For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that it’s tender shoots will not cease. Though it’s root may grow old in the Earth, and it’s stump may die in the ground, yet at the scent of water it will bud and bring forth branches like a plant.”

Even though a tree may get ‘cut down’, it’s roots grow old and it’s stump die, at the ‘scent’ of water it will revive, begin growing again and come alive.

We need to reach out to every ‘cut down’ person and bring them into the Presence of God and even the ‘scent’ of living water will revive a dead soul.

We should never give up hope for anyone that they can be revived to God, no matter how old.

God is the secret to reviving ourselves, churches and families.

He is a river – the river of life! This river runs through His house every time we worship!

See you in church!
