1 Cor 9:26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air
Being busy, running hard, fighting are all good, but if we don’t know where we are going, what we are trying to achieve, it’s all futile. We need traction – to move forward, not just spinning wheels. Our punches need to get a result. Being religiously busy doesn’t impress God. He looks for results, fruit – people coming to Christ, His church increasing. Stop just spinning wheels. Get traction, so you can progress forward. Stop just running uncertainly. Get the purpose, plan & strategy to reach a destination. Don’t just beat the air. Land a punch, so obstacles are removed.
See you in church!
Quote – Hab 2 -‘Write the vision, make it plain’.
Understand the power of a list.
Write down lists regarding
everything you lead and manage.
Write lists of the problems
you currently face, then deal with them one by one.
of those things you need to do, then do them, one by one.
Write down the list of follow up things you need to do.
most important at the top.
Do first things first, last things
Write down you vision list – for this year, for the next ten, for
your life. Write down your goals for today, this week, this year.
Write down the plans and strategies. Tick them off as you do
Simple but amazingly powerful!
See you in church
Quote – ‘There’s a destiny that shapes our ends Horatio, rough hew them how we will.’ – Hamlet
The atmosphere we live in shapes our lives.
The invisible shapes the visible.
The seen is a product of the unseen.
We live out the culture we live in.
The atmosphere we create within ourselves is the life we will live, the thoughts we think the emotions we feel.
We create our own atmosphere with the words we speak, the attitudes we hold and the songs we sing.
We create our culture with the vision we have, the people we mix with and the values we live by.
Let’s shape UP(wards)!
