Do you think think baptism should follow true repentance as preached by Peter in Acts 2:37-39? Here in Acts 2 they asked the important question “what must we do to be saved”. Peter said they needed to repent – and then he told them to be baptised in Jesus name, following the commandment in Matthew 28:19. He knew what Jesus was saying when He said “in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost” – because he baptised in Jesus Name (Acts 4:12).
    I enjoy your blog.

    Hi Phil,
Thanks so much for your insight into God’s word. Spent some time at Oxford Falls earlier this year and got involved on camera for the services, a great time with Georgie and the team. Now back in the UK and part of an Elim church here with the vision to plant next year.
Huge mindset challenge here in the UK for churches and the example I’ve seen in Oz of what God can do when people know who they are with the passion and authority they have in Christ is so needed to be preached here.
    Be Blessed

  3. That is so true! Most people want the other person to change when it’s usually ourselves that need to constantly change and repent. Love your blog Ps Phil – abundant blessings!!!
