Stir up your abilities

Standard

2 Timothy 1:6-7 “Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of hands.”

Stir up your abilities

We need to be reminded about what we have. Revival is stirring up what we have rather than thinking ‘I need something new’. Jesus, Paul, Peter all reminded their people of the things they already knew and had.
We stir up our gifts by using them. Go and do your gift everyday!

Gifts can be imparted into our lives from others and we can impart what we have to others.

Whose hand is on us?
Who is discipling us?
Who are we discipling?
Who are we imparting to?
This is our call – to ‘make disciples’.

See you in Church!

  1. Time & time again, the Holy Spirit speaks in this incredible “universal stereo” to us all. This same verse, and the weight of this message have been pulsing in my spirit all week. God is so very faithful to confirm through His vessels what He is speaking to His children. “What do you have in your hand?” is the question that bears repeating rather than “Why don’t we have what they have?” We encourage OURSELVES & others to STIR IT UP & use the Gifts of the Spirit-

  2. 2 years ago a woman gave her life to the Lord under a painting of mine called “and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the Nations”. She is going back to Germany, her home country in two days time after two years of training in C3 college. She represents one of the leaves coming to be healed then going out to the Nations to heal. Yes use your gift .. sometimes you just never know how God will use it.
    Blessing to you PP!
