“After these things I looked, and behold a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Revelation 4:1
John was possibly close to 90 years old at this time but he still ‘looked’ – He still had ‘vision’ for the future. Whatever we have been through we can never afford to lose our vision. Vision is oxygen to our spirit.
He sees an open door in heaven. What happens in heaven manifests on earth. If you can see something in the invisible realm, eventually it will manifest in the visible realm.
Who is the first voice in your life? who do you go to before all others, above all others. His voice resonates with our spirit. Other voices will be ringing wrong in our soul.
God always intends to elevate you in life, to take you higher. Getting a vision from God is way more important than getting your own vision. We get His vision for our lives when we surrender our whole life to Him to do ‘whatever’ He wants!
Thanks so Much , I needed to hear this more than I may have wanted to admitted. It is easy to forget that you have a vision. Sometimes the struggle to hold onto a vision becomes more than what was thought it would be. Or what you had to walk away from in order to hang onto the vision from the Lord you may have never suspected. I think my vision the past year has been hit from every side. Sometimes I forget what is at stake , it would be easier to just agree with everyone else lay everything down, only thing is I dont know how to do that . Nor would I, I gave my life for Christ if that means I have to walk away from everything to see what he placed in me to become a reality than thats what I will do. Sometimes I think maybe they were all right, I am just being a fool to hang onto what he show me. So thanks cause today was one of those days when I was reminded already what I had lost all in effort to hold onto this vision and I needed to know It was not all futile. have a blest week Pastor. Thanks for sharing your insight

So good, Pastor Phil. Amazing that there is always more to see – encouragement to keep going, keep looking, keep seeing…awesome.
Ps. Phil, I live in Southern California and I have an hour commute in to Hollywood everyday. I listen to your podcasts on my iPod. Your teachings and your revelation of God through the scriptures, and His plan for my life – through your words – are radically changing how I live my life and how I see God. Thank you, so much. You are such a blessing! – Greg
