Again

Standard

Genesis 4:25 – And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth, “For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain killed.”

The 1st family of the human race proved to be extremely dysfunctional to say the least. When one of your children kills your only other child you could be tempted to give up on parenting but Adam and Eve decided to go again!

You may have failed at something this past year. It may have died. However, don’t resign to failure and say I’ll never do that again. Go again!

Getting fit, losing weight, giving up addictions, getting out of debt. Completing education, relationships, finance – all these have bad days, but you have got to get up and GO AGAIN!

God wants to recover and replace what you have lost, but that won’t happen until you GO AGAIN!

See you in church!

    Hi Pastor Phil.

Thx for another great blog entry. I am deeply encouraged to go Again! Failure now does not mean failure always because God is here to recover and replace what’s lost!

  4. This post reminds me of my favourite verses from Joel 2:18 onwards. “I will repay you the years the locusts have stolen….” Had never even been in Joel before until a friend prayed for a verse for me & God gave her something to do with locusts, but that was it! We spent so long trying to find the verse, but never did. Then one night it popped up in another book I was reading. Fell so in love with the book of Joel.

God, let 2010 be the year of restoration, renewal & recovery. Can’t wait!
