Healing

Standard

1 Peter 2:24-25 – “..by whose stripes you were healed.”

“Were healed” – past tense. No matter what the illness was, it has been healed, whether physical, emotional, mental.

There’s always a difference between facts and truth! Appropriating truth is a fight, just like Joshua possessing Canaan. God said, “I have given you the land’ before they have even set foot there!

Appropriating truth into our lives is a fight against giants who try to oppose us possessing what is ours in Christ!

We appropriate truth (like ‘we are’ healed) with our mouth wielding the sword of the Spirit – the ‘Word of God!

SPEAK TRUTH TODAY, INSTEAD OF JUST THE FACTS!

See you in church!

  1. Ps Phil I totally agree, but nobody can give what doesn’t have. We must belive and cultivate the truth into us before facing the facts. If we don’t full the vacuum with truth then the doubt and the lies come to ocuppy it.

  2. Hi Phil Pringle
remember. Oxford Terrace. About 1972? A prayer meeting with the Holy Spirit flying around the room. It was amazing. And those bikies came in and got saved. So long ago and so much has happened. Your church looks amazing.

God Bless and much love to you and Chris of whom I have fond memories, both from Christchurch and those early days in Sydney.

This is very wonderful and it is my request that God may lead you to our country too so that people may have this passed to them too as they see.
    Thanks and God bless.
