Increase grace

Standard

2 Peter 3:18 – ‘but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.’

We all celebrate the grace that God has shown toward us. Most people understand it is unmerited favor from God to us.

However! We are called to also deliver GRACE to one another. This means giving ‘unmerited favor’ to all we meet. We don’t return evil to those being evil to us. We bless them. We shower them with favor they have not earned or deserved. In fact they ‘deserved’ punishment but we blessed those who cursed us.

We are called to love our enemies, just as God loved us by grace. Grace doesn’t depend on other people’s actions to behave beautifully towards them.

Grace is initiated by the giver of grace, not by the actions of others!

Be different! Be like God! Gracious!

See you in church!

  2. Hi Ps. Phil..
I do agree with your writing about grace, “don’t return evil to those being evil to us.” even though (still) ain’t that easy to do it but at least that what’s we called Journey as a Christian! I still always eager to learned and apply it to my daily life!

    God bless!
