Your place

John 14:2 “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

Jesus has just told his disciples & you & me to not ‘let our hears be troubled’ because – He has a place for us. A lot of people don’t know where they belong, where they ‘fit’. They don’t know if there’s a ‘place’ for them. In God’s House there’s a ‘place’ for everyone. When we plant ourselves in the House of our Father we will find our ‘place’.

Right from the start when God thought of you & created you, He also prepared a ‘place’ for you. That ‘place’ is discovered in His House. We are working with Christ when we help to build & prepare a ‘place’ for the people of God.

There’s a place in His house for everyone – The church must be accepting & broad enough to help everyone find their place in the House! Jesus doesn’t mess with us. We may find it hard to believe that He does have a place, plan & purpose for us, but believe it! It’s time!

See you in Church!

Where do you live?

John 15:4 “Abide in Me, and I in you.”

The greatest invitation in history isn’t just to have a relationship with Christ but to live IN HIM and HE IN US!

This is not abiding about Jesus and Him abiding about us.  Too often our knowledge and information ABOUT Jesus stops us short of entering into a dynamic union IN HIM.

You could read a book about your wife, your kids, your friends, but that knowledge would be nothing to spending a day with them, laughing, crying, talking – getting IN each other’s world.

This is not about visiting Christ every now and then when we may feel inspired to.  This is about living, dwelling, remaining IN HIM, through prayer, worship, thinking on Him, speaking for Him, ministry.

If we make our lifestyle to be abiding in Him, then He will abide in us – AND WE SHALL BEAR FRUIT effortlessly.

See you in Church!
